1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Dock PDF Converter, provided by Venginoads, handles information. The app opens, extracts, converts and combines supported documents on your Android device.
2. Files and information processed
When you select or share files with the app, it processes their contents, filenames and relevant metadata to perform your requested operation. Supported inputs may include PDFs, images, digitally signed P7M containers, XML invoices and EML messages. Email headers, message bodies and attachments may contain personal or sensitive information.
3. Local document processing
Document operations in this version are performed locally on your device. The app does not automatically upload your documents or their contents to developer-operated servers. Extracting a P7M document does not verify its digital signature. Exporting an email or PEC message to PDF does not preserve all information in the original message.
4. File access and permissions
The app accesses files you select through Android file selection or send to it using Open with or Share. Access is used to read the selected input and save the output you request. You can manage applicable permissions through Android settings. Selecting a file from a cloud storage provider may involve that provider under its own privacy policy.
5. Storage, retention and deletion
The app may keep imported working copies, generated outputs, temporary files and preferences in local app storage while providing its functions. Clear the app storage through Android settings or uninstall the app to remove its private local data, subject to Android backup and restore behavior. Files exported to Downloads, another folder or another service remain there until you delete them separately. The developer cannot remotely delete files stored on your device.
6. Sharing and exporting
Files are shared with other apps or services when you initiate a sharing or export operation. The selected recipient then handles the information under its own terms and privacy policy. Check the destination before sharing documents containing personal information.
7. Accounts, advertising and payments
This version does not require an app account and does not include active third-party advertising, paid purchases, developer analytics or crash-reporting services. This policy will be updated before introducing services that change these practices.
8. Third-party software and Android services
The app uses software libraries for local document processing and Android features. A local library does not by itself mean that documents are sent to its author. Android, Google Play and storage or sharing services you choose may independently handle information under their own policies. Device backups depend on the app configuration and your operating system settings.
9. Support communications
If you email venginoads@gmail.com, Venginoads receives your email address, message and any attachments you send. These are used to respond to your request and investigate issues, on the basis of the legitimate interest in providing support. Gmail processes the correspondence as the email service provider. Do not send sensitive documents unless needed; redact unrelated personal information. Support correspondence is kept while resolving the request and for up to 12 months after closure, unless a longer period is required by law or to handle a dispute.
10. Security
Keep your device protected and use trusted destinations for exports. No software or storage system can guarantee absolute security. The developer does not receive locally processed documents unless you choose to send them, for example when requesting support.
11. Your privacy rights
For personal information held by Venginoads, such as support correspondence, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection where applicable, and portability where legally applicable. Contact venginoads@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your competent data protection authority; in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. Locally stored documents remain under your control and can be removed as described above.
12. Children
The app is a general document utility and is not specifically designed for children. Venginoads does not knowingly solicit personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information to support.
13. Privacy of this webpage
This privacy page is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information about visits, such as IP addresses, under its own privacy statement. This HTML page includes no analytics scripts, advertising scripts or external fonts. These webpage practices are separate from local processing in the Android app.
14. Changes
Updates to this policy will be published on this page with a revised date. Material changes to data handling will be disclosed through appropriate app notices.
